定义
淋巴结皮质是启动免疫应答的关键区域。它主要由淋巴样组织构成,包含密集排列的淋巴细胞,以B细胞为主,这些细胞组织成称为淋巴滤泡的结构。在免疫应答过程中,这些滤泡可发育形成生发中心,B细胞的增殖、分化及体细胞超突变均在此处发生。
皮质的另一特征是由成纤维网状细胞(FRC)及细胞外基质成分构成的网络,形成支持免疫细胞迁移与相互作用的网状支架。该网络促进初始T细胞及抗原提呈细胞(如树突状细胞)的移动,从而启动适应性免疫应答。[1-3]
皮质内存在高内皮微静脉(HEV),允许循环淋巴细胞进入淋巴结。皮质与副皮质区不同,后者主要含T细胞;亦有别于髓质,髓质含有髓索和髓窦。[4-6]
