跖骨深横韧带是一条横向延伸并连接所有跖骨头的窄带状结构；其前部与跖趾关节的跖侧（关节盂）韧带相融合。其跖侧面呈凹形，屈肌腱于其下方走行；其背侧面上方，骨间肌腱经此处行至其止点。该韧带与掌骨横韧带的不同之处在于，它将各跖骨相互连接在一起。
