骶尾后韧带由一扁平纤维束构成，起自骶管下口的边缘，向下走行，止于尾骨后面。该韧带封闭骶管的下后部，可分为短而深的部分（骶尾深后韧带）和较长的浅层部分（骶尾浅后韧带）。其后方与臀大肌相邻。
