蚓部第III小叶是小脑前叶的组成部分。

根据Larsell编号系统，前叶包含蚓部的五个小叶（I至V）。这些小叶由多条横行裂隙的出现而形成，这些裂隙在内外侧平面上贯穿蚓部及小脑半球。按照经典命名系统，Larsell的蚓部第III小叶与第II小叶共同被标注为"中央小叶"。
