输尿管本体长25至30厘米，是一条管壁较厚、管腔狭窄的圆柱形管道，在肾脏下端附近与肾盂的渐细末端直接相连。输尿管向下、向内侧走行于腰大肌前方，进入盆腔后，最终开口于膀胱的底部。
