腕背侧腱鞘是衬有滑膜的管状结构（即滑膜鞘），包裹腕部和手部的伸肌腱，使其在腕背侧伸肌支持带下方通过。
每个腱鞘使其所包裹的肌腱（或多条肌腱）能够在纤维骨性管道内顺畅滑动，从而减少腕关节和手指伸展运动时产生的摩擦。
