鼻背动脉（外鼻动脉）是眼动脉的另一终末支，从眶内侧睑韧带上方穿出眼眶，发出一细支至泪囊上部后，分为两支：其中一支横跨鼻根，与内眦动脉吻合；另一支沿鼻背走行，供应鼻的外表面，并与对侧同名动脉及面动脉的鼻外侧支相吻合。
