Fasciculus occipitofrontalis inferior

枕额纤维束从额叶向后走行，沿尾状核的外侧缘，位于辐射冠的内侧面；其纤维呈扇形放射，经后角和下角的外侧进入枕叶和颞叶。Déjerine认为毯的纤维来源于此纤维束，而非胼胝体。
