毛细血管层（脉络膜毛细血管层）是脉络膜固有层的内层，由极为细密的毛细血管丛构成，该血管丛由睫状短血管形成；其网络在脉络膜后部比前部更为致密和细腻。在角膜后方约1.25厘米处，其网孔逐渐增大，并与睫状突的网络相延续。
