股骨头韧带（又称圆韧带）作为连接韧带，一端附着于股骨头凹，另一端称为底端，附着于髋臼切迹的边缘。
该韧带作为动脉分支的通道，这些动脉分支起自闭孔动脉后支及旋股内侧动脉升颈支。这些动脉分支通常称为内侧骨骺动脉，穿过髋臼切迹，伴随圆韧带走行，供应股骨头内侧区域。
