喙肱韧带是一条宽阔的纤维带，能加强关节囊的上部。它起自喙突的外侧缘，斜向下外方走行，止于肱骨大结节的前面，并与冈上肌腱相融合。该韧带以其后缘和下缘与关节囊紧密相连；而其前缘和上缘则呈游离状，覆盖于关节囊之上。
