下颌舌骨沟是一个重要的解剖结构，位于下颌骨内侧面。它位于下颌舌骨线的后下方，形似从骨性小舌向下延伸的沟槽。该沟作为下颌舌骨神经和血管的通道，这些神经和血管在下牙槽神经和血管经下颌孔进入下颌骨之前，从其主干分支发出。
