鼻前庭是鼻腔最前部的结构。它由鼻软骨围成，表面衬覆与皮肤相同的上皮（复层鳞状角化上皮）。鼻腔的其余部分衬覆呼吸上皮，称为固有鼻腔。前庭内生有称为鼻毛的细小毛发，可过滤吸入空气中的尘埃及其他颗粒物质。
