Arteria temporalis anterior
Definition
The anterior temporal artery is a branch of the middle cerebral artery (MCA) (M1 segment) that curves out of the Sylvian fissure and runs over the temporal lobe to supply the anterior third of the superior, middle and inferior temporal gyri.
