Definition
The bronchopericardial membrane is a group of connective tissue in the posterior mediastinum, forming strong fiber bands that connect the root of the lung, the bifurcation of the trachea and that radiate across the wall of the inferior vena cava and to posterior part of the tendinous center of the diaphragm.
