Cerebellar precentral membrane
Membrana cerebellaris precentralis
Definition
The cerebellar precentral membrane is an intercisternal membrane composed of two leaves andwith lobulated arachnoid complexes. The cerebellar precentral membrane derivates from the arachnoidal crest that joins the top of the vermis of the cerebellum, the Galen’s vein complex and the medial superior tips of the both cerebellar hemispheres, and splits into two leaves which spread forward to cover the dorsolateral and lateral surfaces of the midbrain.
