Definition
The tenia choroidea, which is also called the choroid line, is a specific area in the lateral ventricle of the brain. It is the connection-line where the choroid plexus connects to the upper surface of the thalamus within the body of lateral ventricle. When the choroid plexus is taken out, the line that separates and defines the tenia choroidea becomes apparent.
