The inferior vein of left ventricle (Posterior vein of the left ventricle) is a tributary of the coronary sinus that drains the lateral and inferior portions of the left ventricle. It is present in approximately 95% of individuals, it courses along the lateral inferior aspect of the left ventricle and typically drains into the great cardiac vein (70%) or directly into the coronary sinus (15%).
