The olfactory fiber bundle consists of those unmyelinated nerve fibers which, arise as the central processes of olfactory receptor cells. These fibers are encased in Schwann cells and converge to pass through the cribriform plate of the ethmoid bone, ultimately reaching the olfactory bulb.
