股外侧回旋支（a. circumflexa femoris lateralis；外侧回旋动脉）起自股深动脉的外侧，在股神经各分支之间水平走行，经缝匠肌和股直肌后方穿过，随后分为升支、横支和降支。

  • 升支向上走行，经阔筋膜张肌深面，至髋部外侧，与臀上动脉终末支及旋髂深动脉终末支相吻合。
  • 降支向下走行，经股直肌后方，沿股外侧肌表面下降，并向该肌发出分支；其中一条长支在肌肉内下行至膝部，与腘动脉的膝上外侧支相吻合。该支伴随股神经至股外侧肌的分支走行。
  • 横支，为最细小的分支，向外侧走行，经股中间肌表面，穿入股外侧肌，绕股骨在大转子稍下方环绕，在大腿后方与股内侧回旋动脉、臀下动脉及第一穿动脉相吻合。
