筛后动脉是筛动脉（眼动脉的分支）中较细小的一支，穿行于筛后管，供应筛后气房，进入颅腔后发出硬膜支至硬膜，并发出鼻支经筛板上的小孔下行至鼻腔，与蝶腭动脉的分支相吻合。
