定义
股二头肌短头（BFsh）是股二头肌的两个头之一，属于腘绳肌群的组成部分。股二头肌短头起自[股骨]粗线外侧唇，位于大收肌与外侧肌之间，向上延伸几乎达臀大肌止点水平；自[股骨]粗线外侧延长部延伸至股骨外侧髁上方约5厘米处；并起自外侧肌间隔。
股二头肌短头（BFsh）具有若干独特组成部分：
1. 近端附着：BFsh在近端附着于股二头肌长头（BFlh）的肌腱。
2. 关节囊臂：此组成部分将BFsh与膝关节囊相连。
3. 汇合部：BFsh与髂胫束的囊骨层形成汇合。
4. 直接臂：BFsh的此部分直接附着于腓骨。
5. 前臂：此组成部分自BFsh向前延伸。
6. 外侧腱膜：BFsh具有一外侧腱膜，参与构成其整体结构。
BFsh呈四边形，直接附着于骨骼及BFlh的肌腱。其特征为羽状肌构筑，这是产生较大力量的肌肉的典型结构特点。BFsh在膝关节屈曲及小腿外侧旋转中发挥重要作用。
