定义
头（或指骨末端）呈长圆形关节面，从前向后明显凸出，横向凸出程度较小，两侧较为扁平；与近节指骨形成关节。其掌侧面较背侧面更宽，向上延伸更远，前后径长于横径。头的两侧各有一结节，为掌指关节侧副韧带的附着处。背侧面宽而平坦，支撑伸肌肌腱；掌侧面中线处有一纵沟，供屈肌肌腱通过，两侧各有一关节结节，与末端关节面相延续。
