定义
咽颅底筋膜（咽腱膜；纤维层）是位于黏膜层与肌层之间的黏膜下层组织。它将咽壁附着于颅底。
其上部较厚，该处肌纤维缺如，并与枕骨基底部及颞骨岩部牢固相连。
向下走行时，其厚度逐渐减小，并逐渐消失。
其后部由一条强韧的纤维带加强，该纤维带上方附着于枕骨基底部下面的咽结节，向下走行形成正中缝，为咽缩肌提供附着点。
