定义
韧带主要由平行排列或相互紧密交织的白色纤维组织束构成，外观呈白色、光亮、银白色。韧带柔顺而灵活，能够保证运动的充分自由度，同时坚韧、强劲且不易延伸，不会在外力作用下轻易屈服。某些韧带完全由黄色弹性组织构成，如连接相邻椎骨椎板的黄韧带，以及低等动物的项韧带。在这些情况下，韧带的弹性旨在替代肌肉力量的作用。
