骶神经和尾神经的前支（前股）（前股）构成骶丛和阴部丛。上四对骶神经的前股经骶前孔进入盆腔，第五骶神经前股经骶骨与尾骨之间穿出，而尾神经前股则在尾骨第一节退化横突的下方向前弯曲。第一和第二骶神经较粗大；第三、第四和第五骶神经从上至下依次逐渐变细。每条骶神经均接受来自交感干相应神经节的灰交通支，而第三骶神经，以及通常第二和第四骶神经，则发出白交通支至交感神经的盆腔丛。
