定义
鼻腹外侧软骨是鼻中隔软骨外侧半的吻侧延伸部分。其尾侧起始部在鼻中隔软骨腹侧区的外侧面斜向上方走行。与鼻背外侧软骨相比，其略短而宽。吻侧，该软骨延伸至鼻尖，止于鼻中隔软骨外侧板的稍后方，邻近该软骨与鼻外侧副软骨的连接处。尾侧，其横截面呈S形，弯曲走行，使其游离缘与鼻背外侧软骨的游离缘相对齐，从而形成翼状襞的软骨性基底，将腹侧鼻甲延伸至鼻前庭。
