6 - Paraaortic nodes

Station 6 (Paraaortic Lymph nodes) are nodes that are anterior and lateral to the ascending aorta and aortic arch.

Boundaries:

• The upper border of station 6 is a line tangential to the upper border of the aortic arch.

• The lower border of station 6 is the lower border of the aortic arch.

• The anterior border is an imaginary horizontal line extending from the anterior wall of the aortic arch
