Facies articularis mallearis

Definition
The articular facet for malleus is located on the body of the incus and corresponds to the contact area of the incudomallear joint. It is a small flat or slightly concave area, covered with cartilage, situated on the anterior part of the body of the incus. It articulates with the head of the malleus.
