Systema musculare

Definition

Antoine Micheau, Muhammad A. Javaid

The muscular system consists of all the muscles in the human body that enable movement, maintain posture, and generate heat. From an anatomical perspective, the muscular system is divided into skeletal, smooth, and cardiac muscle types.

Together, these muscles work in coordination with the skeletal system to produce controlled motion and support vital physiological functions.
