Tuberculum epiglotticum
Definition
The epiglottic tubercle is an prominence at the lower part of the epiglottis over the upper part of the thyroepiglottic ligament, above the stalk (petiolus) of the epiglottis. Its backward projection may be seen on the anterior wall (base) of the laryngeal vestibule.
