Definition
Fibular (a.k.a. peroneal) means along the side of the fibula or the fibular bone.
Fibula is a long bone which is situated in the lateral aspect of the leg, when the lower limb has been positioned in its normal anatomical orientation (i.e. the hip and knee extended).
