Definition
The inferior vestibular nucleus is a group of cells lying inferolateral to the middle nucleus that forms terminal nucleus mainly for descending afferents from the maculae of saccule and utricle. Its efferents travel in the medial longitudinal fasciculus to the spinal cord.
