Ramus of ischium
Ramus ossis ischii
- Synonym: Ischial ramus
Definition
The ischium consists of two main parts: a ramus of ischium and a body.
The ramus of ischium extends forward from the lower end of the ischial body and joins with the posterior ramus of the pubis to form a conjoined ischiopubic ramus.
