背侧韧带（ligamenta basium oss. metacarp. dorsalia）和掌侧韧带（ligamenta basium oss. metacarp. volaria；掌侧韧带）在背侧和掌侧面横向连接各骨。骨间韧带（ligamenta basium oss. metacarp. interossea）连接相邻骨面，位于其副关节面的略远端处。
这些关节的滑膜与腕掌关节的滑膜相延续。
