下颌管

定义
下颌管是位于下颌骨（即下颌骨）内部的一条重要骨性管道，从下颌支内侧（内侧）面的下颌孔延伸至下颌骨体前外侧面的颏孔。
下颌管内走行有下牙槽神经及下牙槽血管，前者为下颌神经的一个分支。上述结构经下颌孔进入管道，穿行其中，为下颌牙齿（磨牙、前磨牙及尖牙）及牙龈提供感觉神经支配。在经颏孔穿出之前，该神经分出颏支，支配下唇及颏区的皮肤。此后继续走行于下颌骨内的神经部分称为切牙神经，连同伴行血管共同供应切牙及其周围骨质。
