鼻中隔软骨（外侧软骨；上外侧软骨）位于鼻骨下缘的下方，呈扁平三角形。其前缘较后缘厚，上方与鼻中隔软骨相连续，但下方被一狭窄裂隙将两者分隔；其上缘附着于鼻骨和上颌骨额突；其下缘通过纤维组织与鼻翼大软骨相连。
