定义
上颌骨前切迹窝是位于切牙上方、靠近尖牙隆突内侧的一处浅表骨性下陷。该处作为鼻中隔降肌的起始点。此外，鼻肌的肌纤维起自前面，位于上颌骨前切迹窝的外上方，沿鼻切迹走行。
注：此上颌骨前切迹窝并未被正式收录于解剖学术语中，该术语中已收录"切牙窝"一词（用于描述骨腭下面的下陷，[切牙窝]切牙管经由[切牙窝]切牙孔开口于此处）。
