定义
黏膜层（tunica mucosa）较厚，上部呈红色，下部色泽较淡。黏膜排列成纵行皱襞，在管腔扩张时皱襞消失。其表面密布细小乳头，全层覆盖有厚层复层鳞状上皮。在黏膜层深面，位于黏膜与疏松结缔组织层之间，有一层纵行排列的非横纹肌纤维，即黏膜肌层（muscularis mucosae）。在食管起始部，黏膜肌层缺如，或仅见少量散在的肌束；向下则逐渐形成较厚的肌层。
