定义
黏膜层（tunica mucosa）较厚，上部呈红色，下部颜色较淡。黏膜形成纵行皱襞，当管腔扩张时皱襞消失。其表面散布有细小的乳头，全层覆盖着厚层复层鳞状上皮。在黏膜层深面，即黏膜与疏松结缔组织层之间，有一层纵行排列的非横纹肌纤维，此即黏膜肌层（muscularis mucosae）。在食管起始处，黏膜肌层缺如，或仅有少数散在的肌束；向下则逐渐形成相当厚的肌层。
