胃前支发自迷走神经前干。
迷走神经前干在穿过膈的食管裂孔时，于胃食管结合部附近发出数支分支，包括胃前支、胃小弯前神经、幽门支及肝支。其中，胃前支（又称胃上支）支配胃底及胃体的前上部。
