髂后下棘是位于髋骨髂骨部后缘的一个显著骨性隆起，位于髂后上棘的下方。髂后下棘下方区域的特征为坐骨大切迹的存在。
梨状肌的某些纤维起自髂后下棘及坐骨大切迹的上缘。
