结肠中静脉引流横结肠，通常汇入肠系膜上静脉（SMV），但其引流方式可存在变异：
在Yamaguchi等人的一项研究中，结肠中静脉在84.5%的病例中被发现直接汇入肠系膜上静脉，而在12.1%的病例中汇入胃结肠干。[1] Maki等人报告，结肠中静脉在62.5%的患者中汇入肠系膜上静脉，其他引流部位包括Henle胃结肠干、肠系膜下静脉、脾静脉及空肠静脉。[2]
