机械外侧肱骨远端角是用于评估肱骨角度畸形并为矫正手术提供指导的一项测量指标。该角度通过肱骨的颅尾位X线片或多平面重建CT图像来确定。
机械外侧肱骨远端角是额状面内肱骨机械轴与额状面内肱骨远端关节定向线所形成的角。
目前文献报道的机械外侧肱骨远端角均值如下：
大型非软骨营养不良成年犬群体中为 87.3 +/- 2.9°（Smith et al. 2017）
大型非软骨营养不良成年犬群体中为 86.92 +/- 1.24°（Wood et al. 2014）
西施犬中为 85.04 +/- 2.57°（Jeong et al. 2020）
拉布拉多寻回犬侧卧位与站立位分别为 90.3 +/- 2.6° 和 89.0 +/- 3.5°（Goordrich et al. 2013）
