腹斜角肌（有蹄动物）
Musculus scalenus ventralis
定义
腹侧斜角肌起自第一肋骨中部，止于第6至第3颈椎横突。
起点： 第一肋骨中部
止点： C3–C6横突（Su另包括C1和C2）
功能： 使颈部向下运动。单侧收缩时，使颈部侧屈。当颈部固定时，肋上部分可参与吸气运动。
神经： 颈神经及胸神经的腹侧支。
注：对于许多学者而言，以及根据第五版NAV，腹侧斜角肌在肉食动物中并不存在。但在Miller或Barone的著作中，该肌肉被描述存在于肉食动物（如犬）中。问题在于，腹侧斜角肌与中斜角肌之间由臂丛分隔（在人体中，前斜角肌与中斜角肌之间亦可清晰观察到这一关系），而在肉食动物中，臂丛位于腹侧斜角肌的前方，而非如其他哺乳动物那样位于腹侧斜角肌与中斜角肌之间。
