左肺

左肺是位于左侧胸腔的呼吸器官，负责气体交换。左肺小于右肺，主要因为其缺乏副叶，且心在左侧占据更多间隙。
左肺分为两个主要叶：
左肺具有与肋相接触的凸形肋面，以及有心压迹的平坦纵隔面。左肺由左主支气管通气，其血管分布包括肺动脉和静脉。
在犬、猫和反刍动物中，左肺无中叶或副叶，与右肺不同。在人类中，左肺同样具有两叶——上叶和下叶——由斜裂分隔。
