Inferior thalamostriate veins
Venae thalamostriatae inferiores
Definition
The inferior thalamostriate veins drain the caudate and lentiform nuclei, and the thalamus. They exit the anterior perforated substance and open into the basal vein or in the deep middle cerebral vein.
