Definition
The cerebral veins (Venae encephali) are located in the subarachnoid space. The cerebral veins drain the parenchyma of the brain to end into the cranial venous sinuses.
The cerebral veins are divided into two groups :
- The superficial cerebral veins
- The deep superficial veins
The cerebral veins don't contain valves and muscular tissues.
