The omental tuberosity of liver is a rounded and prominent eminence on the visceral surface of the liver that fits into the lesser curvature of the stomach, on the inferior surface of the left lobe of the liver, located medial to the gastric impression and lateral to the left end of the porta hepatis, near the fissure of ligamentum venosum. It abuts against the lesser omentum which intervenes between it and the tuber omentale of the pancreas.

This term omental tuberosity (of liver) may not be confused with the term omental tuberosity of the pancreas.
