Omental tuberosity

Tuber omentale

Definition

Antoine Micheau

The omental tuberosity of liver is a small eminence of the visceral surface of the liver in certain domestic animals (Carnivores) and in humans.

It abuts against the lesser omentum which intervenes between it and the tuber omentale of the pancreas.

This term omental tuberosity (of liver) may not be confused with the term omental tuberosity of the pancreas.
